Social settings
Find where approval for social posts is set up, and review recent Social administration activity.
The Social settings page shows your subscription's Social configuration and a log of recent Social administration activity. Approval before publishing is no longer switched on here: it is handled by publishing sign-off rules, which you set up from a post. Go to Account → Settings → Social.
Before you start
- Social must be included in your package. See Package and add-ons.
- You need permission to view Social settings. This is usually given to subscription administrators. See Users, teams, groups and permissions.
- If Social is still being set up for your subscription, you'll see Initialising your Social service... instead of the settings. Select Try again after a few moments.
Approval before publishing
To make posts go through approval before they are published, open any social post and use Configure a publishing sign-off rule in its Publishing Sign-off panel. A rule applies to every item that matches its Content type and Conditions, not only the post you set it up from. Posts to LinkedIn always need sign-off, whatever your rules say. See Approving social posts before they publish and Social posts and the calendar.
Connecting accounts
Company and personal social accounts are connected in Grow → Social → Accounts, not on this page. See Social accounts and social campaigns.
Audit logs
Below the Configuration panel, Audit logs lists recent Social administration activity for your subscription. Select Refresh to load the latest entries. If nothing has been recorded yet, you'll see No audit logs.
