Using the Structurell iOS app
Sign in to the Structurell iOS app, find your way around its four tabs, and set up app lock and push notifications.
If your organisation uses the Structurell iOS app, you can use it to keep up with your subscription from an iPhone or iPad. It works with the same account, subscriptions, package and permissions as the Portal, so you see the same areas and can do the same things you are allowed to do in the Portal. The app needs iOS 17 or later.
What the app does and does not do
The app is designed for checking in and acting on the move: reviewing what needs attention, reading and acting on notifications, working with the areas your permissions allow, and managing your own account and sign-in security.
A few things are only available in the Portal in a web browser:
- Finishing account setup. New accounts are set up from the invitation email. See Signing up.
- Remembered devices. You can review and forget remembered devices only in the Portal. See Keeping your account secure.
- Some screens look different. The app presents each area in a layout suited to a phone, so not every Portal screen appears exactly as it does on the web. If you cannot find something, use the Portal.
- Open the app. You see Welcome to Structurell.
- Tap Continue. The secure Structurell sign-in page opens inside the app.
- Sign in exactly as you do in the Portal: with a passkey, or with your email, password and two-factor code. See Logging in and using passkeys.
- If you belong to more than one subscription, you see Choose your subscription. Tap the subscription you want to open.
You stay signed in until you sign out, your session expires, or your session is ended elsewhere, for example because you changed your password or logged out all sessions.
The main screens
The app has four tabs along the bottom of the screen.
Overview
A summary of what is happening across your services, with cards and sections you can tap to open the related item. Pull down, or tap the refresh button, to update it.
If background work is running for your subscription, such as a sync, a banner at the top of the app shows its progress.
Products
Every area you can open in the Portal, grouped the same way as the Portal's left navigation: for example Today, Diagnose, Strengthen, Enable, Assure, Grow, Assets and Account. Each group shows how many areas it contains. Tap a group, then an area, to work with it. You only see areas your subscription includes and your permissions allow. See What Structurell is and how the Portal is organised.
Notifications
Your notifications, with the number of unread ones shown on the tab.
- Tap Mark All Read to mark everything as read.
- Tap a notification to see its details or go to the related item.
- Swipe a notification to Mark Read, Mark Unread or Delete it.
Account
Your profile and settings.
- Edit profile: tap the edit button on your profile card to change your Name, Email, Language or photo, then tap Save. Changing your email address works the same way as in the Portal: you confirm it is you, then open the link sent to the new address. See Your profile and notification preferences.
- Security: shows your current device and other sessions. Tap Manage sessions to see where your account is signed in, revoke a single session, or use Sign out other devices or Sign out all.
- Sign-in and app lock: app lock, Passkeys, Two-factor authentication and Change Password.
- Notifications: choose which notifications you receive by Portal, email and push.
- Subscriptions: switch to another subscription, if you belong to more than one.
- Account: the package, billing, organisation, access and settings pages from the Portal's Account area that your permissions allow.
Lock the app with Face ID or Touch ID
App lock asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode before the app opens.
- Go to Account → Sign-in and app lock.
- Under App Lock, turn on Require Face ID (or Require Touch ID).
- Choose Require After to set how long the app can be in the background before it locks: Immediately, or after 1, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
When the app is locked, you see Structurell is locked. Tap Unlock, or tap Sign Out to leave.
Push notifications
Once you have signed in to the app, the Push switch becomes available in your notification preferences, in the app and in the Portal. Turn it on for the notification types you want to receive on your device. Push notifications appear only if notifications are allowed for the app on your device. Tapping one opens the related item in the app.
Sign out
- Go to the Account tab.
- Under Leaving this device, tap Sign Out.
Signing out only affects this app, and your device stops receiving push notifications. To sign out other devices and browsers, use Manage sessions.
Troubleshooting
- "We couldn't open the sign-in page." Check your internet connection and tap Continue again.
- An area you use in the Portal is missing. Check you are in the right subscription under Account → Subscriptions. Areas depend on the subscription's package and your permissions there.
- Face ID or Touch ID is not offered. Biometric unlock must be set up on your device first.
- You lost the device. Sign in to the Portal from another device and log out that session from Account → Sessions & devices, then change your password. See Keeping your account secure.
