The Monitoring settings page is a read-only record of recent administration activity for site monitoring. The options that control what is monitored and who is alerted are set elsewhere; this article points you to each one. Go to **Account → Settings → Monitoring**.

## Before you start

- Monitoring must be included in your package and enabled for your subscription. See [Package and add-ons](/account-and-access/package-and-add-ons).
- The page is for subscription administrators, and for users who have been given the monitoring permissions directly.

## The audit log

**Audit logs** lists recent administration events for monitoring in your subscription, newest first, with the date and time of each. Select **Refresh** to load the latest entries.

- **No audit logs** means nothing has been recorded yet.
- **Unable to load audit logs** means the log couldn't be loaded. Refresh the page to try again.

## Where to change monitoring options

- **Which sites are monitored**: **Assure → Monitoring**. See [Monitoring your sites](/assure-and-diagnose/monitoring).
- **Which domains a site uses**: **Account → Domains**, then choose them on each site. See [Domains](/account-and-access/domains).
- **How you're alerted**: each person chooses how they receive **Website Health Changes** notifications in their profile. See [Your profile and notifications](/getting-started/your-profile-and-notifications).
- **Sending alerts to other tools**: route the **Website health changed** event to a connected tool. See [Notification routes](/connections/notification-routes).
- **Who can use monitoring**: see [Users, teams, groups and permissions](/account-and-access/users-teams-groups-and-permissions).

## Troubleshooting

- **Monitoring isn't listed under Account → Settings**: the page only appears for administrators, and only while monitoring is enabled for your subscription.
