Your package decides which Structurell features your subscription can use and how much of them is included each month. Add-ons switch on extra features on top of your package, and usage allowances set monthly limits for things you use in volume. Structurell uses flat company pricing with no per-seat charges, so adding users doesn't change what you pay. You can see and change all of this on **Account → Subscription → Package**.

## Before you start

Everyone in the subscription can view the **Package** page. Only subscription administrators can change the package, add-ons or usage allowances, and only administrators see the **Usage** panel.

## What your package includes

The page header shows your subscription's name and status. The **Current package** card then shows:

- the package name, its monthly price and a short description
- a list of what the package includes, each with a tick
- your next billing date, as "Next billing:" followed by the date
- a **Change package** button

If no package is active, you'll see "No package is currently active." and a **Choose a package** button.

Beside the card, administrators see **Usage** and everyone else sees **Included usage allowances**, which lists each allowance in your package and how much of it you get.

## Compare packages

**Compare packages** puts the packages available to you side by side. Your own is marked **Current package**. For each package you can see:

- its monthly price and description
- what it includes. After the first package, each one starts with "All of" the previous package "plus:", followed by only what it adds.
- a row for each usage allowance, with the amount each package includes

This is the quickest way to see what you'd gain or lose by moving up or down.

## Change your package

1. Go to **Account → Subscription → Package** and select **Change package**. The page moves to **Compare packages**.
2. Select **Upgrade** or **Downgrade** on the package you want. If you have no package yet, select **Subscribe**.
3. Review the **Confirm subscription change** window. It shows your **Current monthly total**, **New monthly total**, **Monthly difference**, any **Prorated amount**, the **Effective date**, and a **New monthly price breakdown**. It also lists any add-ons and allowances you keep, and any that are added automatically because the new package needs them.
4. If there are **Important warnings**, read them and tick "I understand these warnings and want to apply this subscription change."
5. Select **Apply change**.

Upgrades apply straight away. You'll see "Subscription change has been submitted for invoice review." Any prorated amount for the rest of the billing period is added to an invoice that's checked before it's issued.

Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing period. You'll see "The downgrade has been scheduled for the billing-period cutoff." Until then, a **Scheduled package change** notice explains that "Your current package, services, data and price remain active until the billing-period cutoff." To keep your current package, select **Cancel scheduled downgrade**.

A warning such as "Content data will be removed. This is irreversible." means the change turns off a service and its data will be deleted. Export anything you need before you apply the change.

## Add or remove an add-on

The **Add-ons** section has a card for each add-on, with a short description and, unless it's already included, its monthly **Price impact**. Some cards also show an allowance that comes with the add-on, as "Includes" followed by the allowance.

Each card shows where the add-on stands:

- **Included** means your package already includes it.
- **Enabled** means you've added it.
- **Requested** or **Pending approval** means it's waiting for approval.
- No label means you can add it.

To add one:

1. Select **Enable add-on** on its card.
2. Check the **Confirm subscription change** window.
3. Select **Apply change**.

Some add-ons need approval first and show **Request access** instead. Select it and confirm; the card then shows **Requested** until the request is dealt with.

To remove an add-on, select **Remove add-on** on its card, check the confirmation window and select **Apply change**.

## Increase a usage allowance

The **Usage** panel shows each allowance with a bar for how much you've used, the amount **Included in package**, and what the allowance currently costs each month if you've raised it.

1. In **Usage**, find the allowance you want to raise.
2. Set **Increase by** to the extra amount you need. The **Price impact** updates as you type.
3. Select the button that shows the increase, such as **Add** followed by the amount.
4. Check the **Confirm subscription change** window and select **Apply change**.

## Subscription history

**Recent changes** at the bottom of the page lists your latest subscription changes. Select **View all** to open **History**, which lists every change to your package, add-ons and allowances with the **Date**, a **Summary**, the **Actor** who made it, the monthly **Difference** and any **Prorated amount**.

## Troubleshooting

- **A change button shows an error.** Only subscription administrators can make changes. Ask an administrator.
- **"The subscription preview is invalid or has expired."** Something changed after you opened the confirmation window, or you waited too long. Close the window and start the change again.
- **A feature is still there after a downgrade.** Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. Check the **Scheduled package change** notice for the date.
